Sales of online store Utkonos soar 66% to 16.4 bln rbl in 2020

MOSCOW, Jan 29 (PRIME) -- Sales of Russian online grocery Utkonos jumped 66% to 16.4 billion rubles in 2020, including sales in the business-to-business segment and deliveries to lockers, the company said on Friday in a statement.

“The growth rates of the company have become the highest in its history,” Utkonos said.

The average check rose 9% to 6,147 rubles. The share of purchases in the mobile application added 7.1 percentage points to 49%.

Utkonos said the main growth drivers in 2020 were opening of two fulfilment centers with quick delivery in Moscow and its environs and re-opening of a storage facility.
